"Official" 2018 Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party - Holiday Magic

What’s everyone’s meal plans for MVMCP night? Do you eat during the party? Right before? QS or ADR? We don’t want to waste prime party time.

Our plan that day is to relax and hang out by the pool and get to MK by 4.

We aren’t doing many ADRs. We’re planning on doing mostly same day ADRs and QS. I’m willing to make an ADR for dinner if it’ll be easier.

If we eat dinner at 4 we may still be hungry by midnight. What’s open that late?

We usually get to the park at 4:00 and do a few rides and then get a quick service supper. They'll have several areas with cookies/drinks that you can refuel with later on in the evening. :)

Is it worth it to get tickets for the last night even though I'll be there during Christmas week?

I think this is what we will do. I told DD my one must do is 7 dwarves so i want to get in line for that.

Staying at beach club so planning on doing Beaches and Cream for lunch and digest until the party lol

Thanks everyone! I did exactly as you guys told me and selected link tickets with the number the rep gave me and the party for 11/16 showed up and once I linked everyone I got an e-mail for each person. I got the age error and it is showing up blank for each person under my reservation and tickets but no big deal. I am glad we still get the tickets mailed in case of a problem.
I got the age error and after calling tech help, I was told to hit finalize ( even though I had the age error)and they all linked to each person.

I don't know because I keep thinking I don't want to use up party time--but if you count from 4 the party's EIGHT hours long, so I guess we should probably eat...

I have tentatively put either Crystal Palace or Be Our Guest for lunch on our schedule, because we had wanted to do a few hours for our first MK day, then go back rest an hour or so and go back for party, and just grab snack foods for dinner, but our ADR day is in June, a lot can change before then. Have already rearranged twice...:upsidedow

They are my must do as well so my plan is to get food from a quick service on my way to their line and I'll just eat in line. Gives me something to do for part of the time :)

We're doing the party on our arrival day, which isn't as bad as it sounds...we drive from south GA and it's only a 3.5-4 hour drive. Our plan is either to eat a late lunch at Pop when we get there around 1:00 pm and then just snack/eat QS during the party OR to have a late breakfast/early lunch on the road and try to nab a 4:15-4:30 ADR at BOG. Everyone in my party loves BOG but we're not as enthused about the idea of a prix fixe menu, so we're waiting to make a decision until they start the new menu so we can decide if that's something we want to do.

We don't think an ADR is a waste of party time, but that's because we're not really show/parade/character meet people. If we were going to the party to focus more on those things, I think I'd be leery of making an ADR. As it is though, we're going for the (hopefully) shorter ride lines, so I'm okay with taking 1-2 hours for dinner.

I'm doing a late breakfast at Ohana (hopefully) on our party day, then it will be snacks and maybe a QS meal during the party.

Rides aren’t really the focus for us for the party. On top of the party we have 8 day hoppers so our focus is the shows, castle lighting, parade, fireworks, dance party, etc. I just read Plaza is opening up dinner ADRs. Or we could do CHH. Once i have a plan I’ll decide on dinner. I’m also thinking maybe a big late TS breakfast which will have us full most of the day, snacks and dinner QS before the party. We would then be fine until midnight.

If we want to meet the 7 Dwarfs...do we head to the line first thing? Are they in Fantasyland?

I am planning on Sunday Dec 2 for the party. Will wake up and go to Mass and then eat lunch at Beaches & Cream (providing I get ADR), visit the resorts to look at decorations in that area and then head over to MK. I figure Sunday is better than a Friday party which was my next option

For those planning to do Destination D, did they have any events, even a VIP event, on Friday night? I thought I had read that they did, but I can't find it now. I am trying to decide if I want to do the Thursday or Friday night party. Thanks

Just booked the dec 4 and dec 6 parties for my wife and I. We want to experience everything we can in the parties as this is our first time. Were we right in doing 2 parties so we can make sure not to miss some of the exclusive stuff like the meet and greets and the show and fireworks? Expensive to do it twice but we are hoping we were smart to book 2 as everything we’ve seen and heard is that it’s nearly impossible to get everything done in one party.
