I'm going solo October 10-20. The only concerning aspect of this solo trip is sampling the Food & Wine offerings. With others, I've been able to share and sample multiple booths, going alone, I will get full after two or three. I do plan to attend a few times, but not everyday.

Going solo CAN make that a bit difficult as I know from experience. Go a few times, know your must dos, and just have what you can have. Don't focus on what you didn't get, focus on what you DO get to enjoy.

Though I admit I am SUPER glad I am going with a friend this year. Yay for sharing again!

No worries - I'm an accentuate the positive kind of girl.

Highway in the Sky dates are out for September. That’s been on my Disney bucket list and I was super excited to book this am!

I don’t think there will be many dining events when we’re there early in the festival so I’m patching together my own. So far I have brunch at California Grill, Amorette’s cake decorating and now Highway. Can’t wait to see what comes out in July to add to this. Happy with my start!

OMG I never heard of this before! This honestly sounds amazing as I looked it up. I'm going from the 9th to the 18th and I'm hoping for some special events. We have many park days planned and I'm wondering if I should scale back.....

We did that last year (and have it booked for August this year again) - it is an awesome event - very nice food, you get to chat with so many different people from all over the world and a monorail car for just your group. It is highly recommended.

And if you look for more events - the Savor, Sip and Sparkle event at the California Grill is really fun as well. (dates are not out yet)

The Highway Around the Sky sounds amazing, but I think I could do a progressive dinner on my own around the monorail resorts for less money. Then, I'd have more money for snacks at F&W!

With all the changes & price increases they made to it I don't think it's worth the $. I was really tempted by the original version but I think they trimmed it down too much. I know that they sometimes need to modify due to other events going on but the Palmhenge set up in the upper lobby of the Polynesian just inside the doorway to the monorail looks quite cramped and is anything but a quiet intimate setting. I don't know how often they use it for the Highway in the Sky Dine Around but I think it replaced the Trader Sam's local because it's much quicker access to the monorail. I know I'd probably end up quite disappointed in the current incarnation. I'll save my $ for the special F & W lunch events in EPCOT as long as they still offer them.

We did it last year in September , and had fun, but consider it a one and done type of experience. The food and drink was good, and the people we met were great, but it is not worth repeating for the cost.

Consider the food and wine pairings. they will sit you with groups so you aren't by yourself and they are alot of fun. Same with the wine and beer tastings with wineries and distributors. Really fun and not very expensive.

I looked at that one as well, That seems very nice as well. I'm trying to plan for 1 or 2 high price splurge date options. Me and my boyfriend have been together for 9 years and I want to do some romantic memorable things this year!

That is the only thing holding me back. the price tag is high. I was thinking of picking a F&W special event and a dinner at either a Signature or a special Resort dining event. However now that we are staying at Beach Club we can just waltz over anytime for yummy bites!

DD13 wants to do the Parisian Luncheon again. We did the one at Monsieur Paul's in 2016 and she loved it. This year, the trip is just myself, DD13 and DD15 so my finicky DD15 has to do at least one thing that my foodie DD13 wants to do. All of our other meals are "toned down" to cater towards "Miss Hot-Dogs-and-Mac-n-Cheese" so I told her that her little sister gets to choose ONE event that we are all going to do, even if she doesn't like it.

It was so funny in 2016 when my daughter (then 11) saw the first course (the cold potato soup...vicchysoise, or however you spell it!) and she thought it would be "so gross!". She tried it and loved it! After that, she sampled everything they brought out, even if it sounded nasty, and she was so pleasantly surprised. She ran out of room for dessert, which, ironically, was the whole reason she wanted to do the event in the first place!

We arrive late Friday night and I'm hoping that this event is scheduled for Saturday afternoon again. It was held around 1-1:30pm in 2016 and I didn't even check and see if/when it was offered last year. If we aren't going to be able to do it, our back up is going to be dinner at the Yachtsman Steakhouse. The girls are already drooling over the 32oz Porterhouse...which would be shared by the three of us!

DFB is reporting booking date for special events is next week - June 14!

Wow! So much info! And so early!!! I like the sound of a mimosa bar! Seems like fewer celeb chefs than usual and changed that event to a breakfast buffet including a photo opp. Looks like they are under promising the perks in the Wine View Lounge at Party for the Senses (wish there was also a price reduction) and no Disney Springs themed party, which I thought was so good, food-wise. Some of the kid events sound cute.

Hmm....things to research!

Have any of you done a cheese seminar? I want to do the Parisian breakfast but was looking at the cheese seminar too. One would have to be done on my way to airport. LOL

Lots of event dates still missing, and regular booking June 14... with no word yet on any wary booking... hope we get al of that info soon!

Just coming over here to post. No updates on the Walt Disney World website yet with the information. I guessing there will not be a Tables in Wonderland preview this year, weird!
