So, has anyone gotten the official opening time for the Harbor bag check? Is it 6 am?
And, was the low staffing issue at the DL gates only a problem Tuesday or is this supposed to last all week? If this happens again this morning, can someone ask and report back? TIA!

Harbor side? Is it manned or just open? DLH side is supposed to be manned, but is often just open for guests to jog or to go to Starbucks. Or so people have posted here. Someone here posted that the DLH bag check officially opened at 6 am the other day. No one has posted an official time for the Harbor side.

Does anyone have a reasonable explanation as to why you muct be scanned into DL, as opposed to DCA, in order to get a boarding pass. You can make FP via MaxPass for DL without ever scanning in. I know it's a different system, but it shows they are compatible. It would be nice because that would also spread out the crowds and lines some.

I know it's the way it is and nothing I can do will change it. It would just be easier to accept if I had a valid reason why.

I just had a thought regarding this. I wonder if this policy is in place in case the park reaches maximum capacity. If everyone has to be inside DL to get a boarding pass, everyone who has a boarding pass can ride that day. If they choose to leave DL at some point in the day before their boarding pass time, they may lose their space in DL if it reaches maximum capacity while they are gone and aren't able to get back in.

Just opened the app (iPhone) and the ROTR page isn't telling me anything about today's boarding groups or the usual "no groups available" thing. I haven't seen this before, and no the app doesn't need an update ... weird. anybody else not getting anything about today's boarding groups being full etc.?

Argh I'm still having issues with the app! I even got a new phone a month ago! So frustrating - I've never gotten beyond clicking on the red button - it locks my app up and then I have issues signing in. I'm loath to contact support as it is long distance for me so $$$. And today the app itself is back to letting me sign in today.

The good news is we got through on DH's phone today when practicing so at least we know his will work for sure.

Edit: PP indicates iPhone, so it seems this is across the board...

So, I noticed today that the verbiage has changed a little, and there is no longer a verbiage change on the FOM page that indicates the switch from regular to backup groups. The pop up after selecting JBG comes up for the backups, but the FOM verbiage used to change and today it did not.

Also I noticed that at 8:49 the JBG button went grey, but the usual update that typically comes a few minutes after regarding distribution being done and the first backup bg and all that still has not come up.

No indication of boarding either, which makes me nervous for today. Good luck to those of you in the park.

I'm not sure if it has changed, but during the week after Christmas it was 6am, though I was able to talk one of the guards into letting me by at 5:50am to go get my starbucks order to take back to my Harbor Blvd. hotel one morning.

Looks like we're boarding. New verbiage does not indicate what the cutoff is for regular groups, though.

Maybe after the success of yesterday they couldn't decide on what # to start backup groups? Or the server is having difficulty pushing the change to the app. I don't think its an actual permanent change as DHS still has the verbiage for what groups are backups.

continuing the weirdness, now a few hours later the app does reflect which groups are being boarded, but the information below that part has not updated with anything about the non-guaranteed groups like it usually does.

Started boarding around 10. Took us 45min from entering the line. It was great! I didn't look at any spoilers so I can't say if everything was working.
Hondo had to phone in at Smugglers Run. He was covered in a big burlap cloth.

Well, the verbiage change isn't because they aren't using back up groups then. Hope it's not a permanent change, I like to see when back ups start from an outside perspective.

Rough day so far. Seems like we get up and running, capacity drops to 50%, we limp along for a while, then we go down. We're limping now, hopefully they break the cycle.

At least the other coast is looking solid today.

Two weeks out from our trip now... and we pretty much have two mornings to try... one is a MM (7am) and other is a regular 8 am opening. On MM I assume we can go (coming from Harbor) around 6 am? Is that early enough? Ride some things, but when it starts to get close to 8 am hang out and get ready? On a non MM day, I was planning on being a at security by 6:30 am...is that early enough? When we have had a 7 am MM in the past, we usually tried to be in line by 6:30.... security etc was never that bad that early. But I know things have changed thanks to this ride,
