This thread is very funny, sometimes hilarious.

But really, it is a very sad commentary and demonstrates and illuminates very well why we, as a country, are where we are today relative to this lethal, ever-so-contagious virus. I think, until things that have been repeated in this thread pretty much go away (how, I have no idea), we will remain static where we are, if we are lucky, or more than likely, get a lot worse. It truly is sad.

After he tested postive, Texas Congressman Gohmert said he has worn a mask "more in the last week or two than I have in the whole last four months" and suggest he may have touched his face more because of it. "I don't know about everybody, but when I have a mask on I'm moving it to make it comfortable, and I can't help but wonder if that puts some germs in the mask,"

That the reason black people are getting covid at such high rates is because black people are fat, lazy, dirty and unhealthy. This was the wife of someone I know. I literally had to walk away and leave. She said this to my face, as normal and calm as could be, like we were talking about the weather.

Yikes! In my area the black people are taking this the most serious and not gripping about wearing a mask and just doing it, even young children are masked. I have been happy to see that.

The virus spread is around 5ish percent. This is only beginning. It’s very likely that she’ll eventually catch it.
