Here I go again with Sams...ordered 3 packs of Disney gift cards, shows delivered, but only one showed up. At least they issued an immediate refund, with no phone call required this time.

I logged in yesterday to the actual site and didn't have it and just now to the app and nothing. I think it's something they will do every so often though. But I also asked for a cl increase on my surpass a few weeks ago and updated it then. They'd only gave me 1k and I wanted to use it for house stuff, will end up being the estimated taxes on it, to get the 15k night. Asked for 5k and they only gave me 3k which doesn't really help at all cause I'll have to do 3 payments now instead of 2.

Also my total cl on 3 credit cards with amex is now only 12k. I do have 2 charge cards but I feel like they could have given me more on the surpass. The other 9 is on 2 biz.

Is there a way to use points to stay onsite at Walt Disney World (excluding Swan and Dolphin)?

Disney hotel used to be in the Chase travel portal, but they were all removed about 2.5 years ago. Sometime around there. But as others mentioned, buying Disney gift cards with the PYB feature is definitely a great way to use points to pay for Disney!

Use autoslash.com and go through Rakuten if Priceline. Check frequently because prices are always changing.

I’ve tried several times this week to register vgc I bought at Kroger on the prepaid gift balance website, but for whatever reason the website hasn’t been working for me. I finally went to one of those websites where you can check if it’s down for everyone or just me and it said the site was down for everyone. So I called the phone number and registered that way, which did work. Since I’m using them to pay tuition online, they must be registered or they won’t work. But it’s a pain in the rear. The first time I tried the website and it didn’t work was Tuesday, so it seems this site has been down since then at least (?) Just thought I’d mention it in case others are stuck unable to register their cards as well.

Just wondering why do you need to register them? I was thinking of using some for my sons next tuition bill. I already used some towards his rent and didn’t register them first. These were bought at Staples though not Kroger.

DH got this letter from AMEX today apologizing for the delay in issuing his SUB points. I just figured the RAT was combing through his purchases with a fine tooth comb, causing the 2 month delay. Interestingly enough, he does have some AMEX cards he uses for work that he’s been putting a lot of spend on in the last couple weeks after not much spend on those since last March. I thought we’d burned a bridge with AMEX, so hopefully this means at least DH is still old terms

When I read the first half of the letter, I thought they were going to apply the points earned PLUS a little something extra. I guess the extra part is an apology

We just now realized that the CSP has the Doordash credit too . We used it last month on my CSR but we each have a CSP, so how do we use those too? Do we have to make 3 different accounts?

I don't think the CSP has statement credit like the $60 on the CSR, I think it's just a free DashPass subscription. Unless they announced something new... or there's a glitch you'd like to share

I have paid DS’s tuition via VGCs and never register them. That would be way too much work.

I also use autoslash whenever I rent a car...but it has been a while. They always seem to give me the best rates and if the rates go down, notify me to rebook.

So I finally decided to try for the Amex offer for the Biz Gold for 90k MR's. I clicked to apply this morning and the offer comes up, but when I hit the apply but I received a message "offer no longer available." Has anyone experienced this? Do you think it will come back?

The 90k Biz Gold offer is targeted, if you get the unavailable message that means you are not targeted right now. You could be targeted in the future, sometimes AmEx does waves, so you could try again. Sometimes if you were targeted before but wait too long to apply, you are not targeted anymore. AmEx is fickle, but doesn't hurt to try again.

www.autoslash.com Once for the initial rental, then register your reservation with them and they will keep checking for lower rates. I ended up booking a car for October for $400 that thanks to Autoslash I only paid $240 for after the price drops. They will ask if you are a costco member and include those rates as well. Once you have decided but before you book, join the frequent renters programs of whatever company you are going with and make sure you enter that number when booking. The last time I was at MCO I was able to go out to the garage, find my name on the board and was out of the ramp 5 minutes after leaving baggage claim. In DEN, they had my minivan pulled up to the curb already.

When you use the GCs for tuition does it get treated like a debit card (ie no fee?) Or a credit card?

It runs as credit, so it gets a fee. If I try to run them without registering them it doesn't work.
