I receieved my confirmation as soon as I was finished. I entered them into MDE and assume it's just a waiting game for them to show up. I have a confirmation number, so if anything goes sideways, I'll fight that battle then.

So it worked with just the confirmation number and you could add it for more then 1 person?

This is so frustrating, it's taking 2-3 minutes after I dial to tell me the call can't go through. I accidentally hit the wrong number and got a voicemail and it said it was a private residence and if you were calling for boo bash tickets it was the wrong number. That poor person.

Their phone is probably ringing off the hook with one wrong number after the next.

The big question is whether they're going to have their phone number changed so it's not one digit off from WDW!

Like others, it is not showing in MDE but I have the email with my confirmation number and the credit card is showing the charge. Hopefully it will show up and if it doesn’t I’ll call back after the phones settle down next week.

Yes. It showed that I had 2 tickets and I then assigned it to the other person in my party.

Mission accomplished! The whole process took just under two hours. Purchased two tickets for Oct 12 from the 4240 number. The CM said no dates are sold out at this point.

ETA: The whole process once I was on hold. I spent a couple hours redialing earlier...

Once the tix are linked in MDE we can just use our magic bands for entry, correct? Do we still need to pick up physical tickets at will call?

I’ve been attempting for almost 7 hours. Never have been placed on hold. Always a busy tone or the circuits are not available. What’s everyone’s trick? Should I just wait because I want 2 tickets for September 21st?

Third time’s the charm with hack number
407 939 7529 and spammed 0s,
1st CM transferred but later disconnected
2nd CM couldn’t transfer
3rd CM transferred and I was able to buy 2 tix
eta- with 10-15 mins hold time

That's actually a misleading title. When you read the blog, they say they called the Help Desk and asked to be transferred into the ticketing queue but the Help Desk is no longer transferring people. And as many of us know here on this thread, calling the ticketing line directly typically gives you a busy signal. So the authors concluded that the "ticketing line is down". Which isn't entirely accurate.

I just got my tickets through DVC member services.

I tried various numbers between 7 and 9. Got the same busy/silence as everybody else. 45 seconds before 9, I called DVC and got busy signals, but it only took 5-10 attempts before I git through. I put in all my DVC info only to get the automated call-back-later-hang-up. I kept trying and selected Spanish when that option came about (I speak enough Spanish to buy these tickets) and it said (in Spanish) that there was a 40 minute wait. Right at the 40 minute mark a rep answered (in English) and I was able to buy for opening night, which is during my August trip.

Good luck everyone. It really shouldn't be this hard......

I have been dialing for well over an hour with all of the same issues everyone is having (busy signal / all circuits busy / calls dropped, etc.). To help pass the time, I was reading through this thread from the start and finally came across this post. I gave this a try and, lo and behold, I a finally on HOLD, with a 38 minute wait. THANK YOU so much for this tip!

Ok, I gave up earlier and decided to give it another try after my afternoon meetings. Got through on 407-939-7529. Transferred, waited about 15 minutes and was able to get tickets on Halloween. Anyone who was told Halloween was sold out.. that's just ridiculous.

Years ago, my grandparents number was 1 digit off from a very popular pizza place. Every night, they got multiple calls. Finally they changed their phone number.

When I was a kid our phone number was 1 digit off from a local camera shop. That wasn’t a problem until they printed our phone number on their business cards. Fun times.

Still haven't been able to get anything but busy signal or circuits are busy using all available and known numbers.

I was jealous of everyone getting through, but now I'm just hoping with each person getting tickets, that I'm one more person away from a call connecting.

I got them! After an hour and 49 minutes on hold !!!! The lady was so nice and said it’s been a hectic day because of so many calls and she thinks it’s starting to get better now.

So my wife tried all morning while I was at work and couldn’t get through. I tried the 407-939-7529 number and got transferred through immediately. After 20 mins on hold I got disconnected. Called again and was once again transferred immediately. This time I was on hold probably only 2 mins and I got through. Tickets purchased for Aug 31st. I would highly suggest trying this method. Just keep hitting 0 after you get through and eventually a live person picks up. Say you are looking to buy boo bash tickets and if you can get transferred.

After trying on and off all day with busy signals and call failures, I finally got through and was on hold for about an hour and 40 minutes. Got a lovely CM named Gladys and got 2 tickets for August 17th.
