DDC XXXIV: The Original Home Of The DISDads!!!

Well, yes there's that as well, but not in the way you might expect...

The cell towers like highways only have so much room. To make room for the newer and faster technologies that most customers want, they have to eliminate older ones. So, yes it's money driven because they're able to attract more customers if theirs is the faster or more reliable (heard that on any commercials????), but not just in selling new devices(they make much less money on the devices and more on the service)

So will you be posting a picture of said sweater?

Breakfast went great, I started frying sausages around 6:15 then moved to eggs. They had a pretty good spread. Besides sausages and eggs there was most importantly bacon plus bologna, hash browns, toast, cinnamon buns. But there’s a ton of food left. Sausage and eggs for my lunch I guess. No need to eat my own food if I can eat the company’s

Well done Sir!

Another day off, and I'm certainly enjoying the free time. If only I were only at WDW or somewhere warmer, then it would make it even better.

So you're giggling now that you have peace and quiet. Check

.

Lots of giggling while they were here. Lots of giggling when they returned. Maybe some crying while they were gone, or perhaps the drywall was reverberating old giggling sounds. And, lots of drinking to survive.

I could see this easily. I'm usually up by 5am even on days I'm not scheduled to work, so 6am is definitely okay for volunteering. ;)

Yuk. Sadly, I too am programmed to wake up at 6 AM. I don't even set an alarm anymore. However, mine is because i have an early AM job on Sundays, and a time travel zone things as well. My wife's great-aunt had the right idea. After she retired, she was the only older person I know who woke up everyday at 11 AM. When I asked her why, she said late night tv was better than morning tv.

Morning gents.
Not much to report here. And I'm quite happy with that.

Youngest DD turned 18 on Tuesday. Took her to the casino where she won $5. (As in she walked in with $50 and walked out with $55... side note... I don't get when I tell someone that I/she/they won $5, people always reply with "But how much did you lose?"... No... won. Not lose. If it was a loss, I'd say that.)

My eyes!!! Aiiyyeeee!!!

Sounds good! And... free food... and good food? Win, win!

And, lots of drinking to survive.

There it is!

Top O the Mornin Dads! Last day in the office til Jan 2, I say office 'cause with all the changes around here there will be no way to totally disconnect but gonna do my best. Looking forward to the break and then there is DDCC for a couple of days to recharge as well. Dan - you can call it anytime...........................
Afternoon everyone. Early start to the Christmas holidays. I'm off until Jan 8 :D. Need to prepare for a rain storm tomorrow, amounts of 80 to 110mm(3-4 inches) are forecast. With the snow we have and frozen ground, could be some flooding. Something we don't need, especially this close to the holidays. Once I'm done at home, I'm off to help a fiend move things to higher ground. He lives in a flood prone area.
Be safe

Congrats on the win and the birthday. What's the plan? College? Military? Trade school? Mooch off parents?

!

I called in two days ago.

The votes are split. Of the co-workers who commented, some thought it was ugly, others thought it was fun. I think I was just weeding out the Disney vs. non-Disney fans.
At first I thought it was meant to be ugly, but now I'm not so sure. I kind of like it.

Maybe they just thought you were ugly. Wait, that's not nice. And you smell bad too. :sad2:

Morning everyone from an overcast, but warm New Brunswick. We didn't get as much rain as was forecast, so there was no flooding in our area. I'm heading to Fredericton to visit some friends and drop off Christmas gifts. Have a great weekend.

It's wet up here as well and I can see the lawn again. I guess we've moved into Spring. :rotfl2:

Do you know where to drop off my gift?

Morning folks.
Snowy day over here. But the light fluffy (and... I'll admit... pretty) kind.
I'll change my mind in a bit when I go out and shovel it.

Good to hear.
