Oops. Missed that part, didn't read it properly on my phone - sure sounds good.
Great

MEET FOR LUNCH AND PIN TRADING
At Cabanas....meet outside Cabanas near the aft elevators between noon and 12:15 on the first sea day!

Hi, I haven't posted in a while. I'm glad we're on the members cruise this year because it will be nice to have the seven days to enjoy everything. We went on the four night cruise two years ago and had a wonderful time but it felt rushed. Next year's in mid July is back to the four nights, plus mid July is really hot and not the ideal time to be visiting WDW. We are going to BLT for four nights after the cruise.

I am also glad it's 7 nights and includes Castaway Cay! We have days at sea and port adventures.

With all things reveled at the D23 Conference, do you think they will have anything new to tell us about on the cruise?

I think they may elaborate on some things. Last year, we got to see the Disney Nature show Born in China, I think they had shown that at D23 as well. One year they showed us some new shorts.

Maybe they'll divulge some more details about the new ships...Or new planned resorts!

Is anybody thinking about doing a private tour as a port adventure but don't want to cough the full amount for just two or three? If so, maybe there is an interest in possibly splitting a tour? There three of us in our party and our son is too young to do most of the port adventures, so I'm thinking about a private tour.

LOCAL CANDY / SNACK exchange

If you are interested in sharing local treats, and receiving from others, please sent me a conversation stating your Stateroom, the number of people in your stateroom, adults, kids. Also mention if you have any allergies!

The list will go out to participants July 26!

Bobbi:)

I agree. The 4nt cruise does not appeal to us for the same reasons. Last year was 4nts out of NYC to Canada and it was a lot to pack in. Looking forward the 7 nt. sailing this year. Much more time to enjoy the special events.

Do not know if many here are aware of the webcam at Port Canaveral or not but for a few weeks now it has been blocked from viewing the ships as they leave except when they are well down the channel. I guess the casino ship blocking the views is set to be moved before August. It has been sold and is being refrub. at this location. We use this to view the Disney ships as they leave and tell our family and friends to watch us. They zoom in on the passengers and is really fun to watch. It should be clear viewing when we leave on Aug. 26th...smjj ºoº

We were seriously considering something private to tour the baths in Tortola since our first choice: A Day at the Baths (TT04) https://disneycruise.disney.go.com/port-adventures/tortola-virgin-islands-day-at-baths/ was sold out by the time the silver booking window opened up and my DBIL and wife could not reserve a spot with us.

Yesterday, we checked again for any openings and there were none. So we went through everything that was still available and found as an alternative the Tour to Virgin Gorda (TT23) https://disneycruise.disney.go.com/port-adventures/tortola-virgin-islands-tour-to-virgin-gorda/ Same excursion as TT04 without lunch - leaves around 1pm so we can eat before we leave. This gives us a quiet morning on the ship PLUS affords an extra hour beach time at the Baths AND was $50.00 cheaper! A win-win for our group.

Just noticed that we have Frozen Gathering meet at 12:45, so if we meet closer to noon, that would be best!

I have a "Gals Cruise" with the same itinerary in April. I hope I will see you after you do this so I can learn about how much and the kind of walking involved. I will have a toe operation right after this Member Cruise, so between my new feet and knees, I may be able to do that!

For Tortola, we have decided on the ride and Beach break, 1 hour with a beach chair , seems like a good amount for Tom. It is my first visit to this island. In St Thomas, we will snorkel at the National Park. That has been something we've done many times. My girlfriends are not snorkelers, so I want to do that when I can!

Today is last day for sign ups! Please get your information to me!

I am not sure how many folks said they would be coming to The Top of the World Lounge on Friday night. Since there's a Halloween party at MK that night, those are the fireworks that they should be showing! With HEA fireworks the main attraction now, it will be interesting to see if there are new fireworks for the party!

Also, reminder about pin trading. Meet at noon at the aft elevators outside Cabanas. Lunch and pin trading!
