Going to DLR Dec11? Let's meet! Times?

Disneyfanlv, redsfan and family are coming out of hiding!
We are finally comfortable with the idea of meeting some fellow vmk'ers from here!
Anyone going to be there around this time? Would you all like to meet up?
It would only be for a little bit, nothing big! We would have the little fans with us so I'm sure they would rather ride or watch the parade!
Maybe a gathering in vmk central? I have never done this before. So an ideas would be much appreciated.
I have been very shy! I would like to publicly apologize to some dis'ers for being that way!
Maybe we can meet and become real life friends in the happiest place on earth!

So anyone going to be there?

I know all about "coming out of hiding." I had never met anyone from the "on line world" until meeting some people from VMK. And I have to tell you - some have become good friends.

If I can make it - it would be fun to meet you!

I could also make it between the 11th and the 13th; Monday the 11th would be fine.

Perhaps those of us who have the time would like to have lunch together after we meet? (Disneyfan_77, there is no "VMK Central" as such at Disneyland; the transaction booth is actually outdoors in Tomorrowland, but you have to go inside Innoventions to get to the "VMK Cave" with the computers.)

I think it's easier to find people near the booth rather than inside Innoventions; it's sort of dark in there, with lots of people milling around.

By the way, if the booth is closed, (which happens sometimes during iffy weather), that means they have moved it inside of Innoventions; just ask a castmember to point you in the right direction.

i was going to to DLR for my first time, or any disney park on dec 10th - 15th, but due to a surgery im having close to those days(which i'll post more about on dis later on) i cannot make it it, i was going to go with my uncle's family, maybe some other time

So how does meeting at the vmk booth sound?

We will probably arive sometime between 9am to 11am.
It all depends on traffic and the kids getting up early for the drive down.
But Monday would be perfect! Any ideas on a perfect time to meet?

As for lunch, we usually just eat at tomorrowland terrace/Buzz cafe.
My kids are chicken-nuggets-and-french-fry-and-PB&J sort of kids.

I am open to any ideas, I have never done this before!

Wow, looks like a party!

Disneyfan_77, as you're the one with kiddos in tow, (and this is your thread ), I vote for whatever restaurant you choose! Wasn't sure if your "quick meeting" included time enough to gather for lunch.

As a suggestion, perhaps we could meet at 11:30, and then head over to the restaurant at noon. If we let everyone know where we'll be eating, and have some kind of identifying sign, (Lime Green Mickey Head?), it should be easy for latecomers to join us.

But it's really about what works best for your schedule that day.
