Have you even SEEN the Dream Squad?

Ive only seen them once and it was on mainstreet at the front entrance but they were walking from into the CM backlot area where we are restricted from.

This past week they were all over the place. We got Dream Parking as well as Dream Ears. We saw several groups of people getting Dream Fastpasses.

The Dream Squad members don't appear unless you or someone near you is about to be given a dream. Not until they are ready to they come out with the vest. If they walked around with 'Dream Squad' plastered all over them, just imagine how overtaken by dreamers they would be and not be able to give those dreams away that Disney is promoting?
When the Dream Squad CMs are not giving out prizes they're supposed to be walking through the parks, answering questions and greeting guests -- not loitering backstage and running down the timeclock.

For those of you who complain that you haven't seen any DSers doing this during your trips, I encourage you to write WDW and let them know.

My boyfriend is part of the Dream Squad and he loves it so much! (just had to share that....):wizard:

I bet that is a dream job!! Probably not looking forward to the end of the 2nd YOAMD. We all will just have to enjoy it while its still going.

I was there recently and me and my baby sister were honorary prince and princess of the day and we got to ride Cinderella's personal horse on the golden carousel.

I never saw the "Squad" doing their thing but we did have an absolutely magical experience w/one member of the Dream Team in Epcot.
I've mentioned this before so bear with me if you've already read my tale.

Jake is a Dream Team member in Epcot. He stopped to chat w/my family while we were waiting for Illuminations. He spent over an hour chatting with the whole family and it meant alot to me that he chatted & listened to the kiddos as well. He even got out an autograph book and asked for our autographs! We saw him standing on the fountain at closing and he shouted a goodbye to us when he saw us (even called us by name!)

2 days later when we were at Epcot again, we saw Jake and he remembered us! My 10 yo son was so in awe of him and asked if he can come on rides, then asked if he could join us for Mission Space. Not only did he join us, he took us right to the fast pass line. My son felt so special to have his very own CM escort! He will always remember Jake and how magical it was to have him spend some time with our family.
I took the time to write to WDW to let them know what a gem Jake is and how much of a asset he is to WDW. I got a phone call from WDW thanking me for my comments about Jake and that his supervisor will get notification of this and Jake will also get a copy of my letter w/a commendation to go in his file.

We saw them twice in one day last year as we were double winners! It was fun. We won a dreampass at Sorin and 4 year of a million dreams pins at Test Track! Very nice to have won! Maybe next week I can get into the "Suite", right!

NOPE!

We just got back and was there four days at all the parks and didn't see them once! :sad1:

Guess it is a dream IF they appear!

We are hoping to go back next year.

We were down 3x this year in 07 and have not seem a Dream Squad member once.

pretty amazing. I really liked Marilou's story of how the dream teamer did not give them anything, but by just being a CM, he really made their day special.

We were there is September and saw the Dream Team almost daily. We also scored a few Dreams. :teeth:

I watched someone get off a ride just behind me and win a stay at the Cinderella Suite! I told my DH we had to walk away before I started to cry! They were not even excited- maybe they didn't understand...I hope they ended up enjoying and appreciating it!

We just got back from a 7 day trip and that was the only time we saw the dream team, no dreams for us, but it was still magical.

Saw the dream team on Thursday Dec. 13th and had a really great conversation with one of them. We were at Test Track and it happened to be closed for a little bit but he told us if we waited he'd hook us up. He sure did, we and another couple got the V.I.P. treatment. It also happened to be our 15th anniversary so it was just icing on the cake for us. Not anything huge but still made our day.:)

A team was seated right next to us during one of our lunches at Kona, but we did encounter a working member in the Town Square during our recent stay.

It becomes clear they work with profiles and agendas. After a series of questions and inquries to our little girls about meeting Princesses it became clear as the conversation ended and she went on her way that we did not fit her critieria since we were schedule to meet some Princesses during a planned character meal. Knowing who she was and her function I found her encounter to be less than magical.

We're at WDW all the time(at least once a week) and see Dream Squad members in every park, every time we go. We've never won any of the official dream prizes, but the dream squad is always around and very friendly and fun to talk to. If people aren't seeing them, it's just because they don't recognize the costume.

that's a tough one. You want to be happy for those that won, but if they do not care, then . . . . well . . . . just cry!!

they are all over the place at the studios. and my friend Matthew is a Dream Squad CM.

I wonder if you see them more at the Studios because if is a more compressed area?? Interesting thought. I never saw them at the studios on my trip in Nov, but I saw them at AK & Epcot.
