We will arrive for our first AKL stay in a couple of weeks. At other WDW resorts we have had good luck requesting a box fan for our room. Does anyone know if AKL has fans available from housekeeping? Thanks!
 
Just got home last night and couldn't have been more thrilled with AKL. We had booked a standard room and ended up in room 2471 on Zebra Trail. It was renovated, pretty close to lobby and we had tons and tons of animals every day. There was a family of four giraffes directly outside our balcony every day. It was amazing. Also, service was the best that we've had at any resort over our last 7 trips...from check-in to the restaurant servers. We had stayed here a couple years ago and thought that it was just okay. We decided to give it another try and it far exceeded our expectations.
 
We are booked for AKL August 29 through September 3. We are so excited to being staying in a Deluxe for the first time, even though we will have the most fantastic view of the parking lot! LOL
