Hi all...
So I‘m thinking of taking a DCL next year (Wish) - and I’m torn between Jan-April. I live in FL now, so I do want to go when it’s warm enough to enjoy the water activities/pool/CC, but not when it’s too hot and humid. I suppose that means March/April would be better, but of course then we’re also dealing with Spring Break. That happens at different times for different schools, so any idea how to avoid it other than just going another time? Looks like Easter is 3/31/24, so I suppose that week and first week in April would be a no go.
I’m kind of torn - it would be much easier for me to leave from Ft. Lauderdale, but even though Wish gets very mixed reviews, I like that the food is considered the best by many, and the AquaMouse looks cool (but I really hope they let single riders on - waiting at Typhoon Lagoon and having to ask strangers to let me on the raft was so awkward).
I’m thinking it makes much more sense to stay overnight near Port Canaveral instead of leaving very early from South FL day of. I think Cocoa Beach is nearby? Worth staying the night and exploring the town a bit?
Thank you!!!
