Marvel Day at Sea Navigator

No, I know they have one with Spider-Man and Thor and Black Panther. I’m not as into those.

(And I still may decide to stick with the Wonder that week. Unsure.)
The other ticketed event was with the "New York Crew" but I don't know specifically who that was? I'll try to find out from some others on the cruise.

ETA: it was, Spider-Man, black panther and iron man

Looking at the Navigator on page one again -- it looks like the costume party in the atrium happened twice, at 1:15 and again at 5:00? I've been wondering what time of day guests start changing into their costumes, whether it's an evening thing, afternoon to evening thing, or an all-day thing. I've never done a cruise before and I don't know how key the term "night" is in "Pirate Night," either.

Did you get to see the hour long Dr Strange show? What is it like? Worth seeing? Thanks!

I thought the Dr. Strange show was a little weak.... that being said, my 4 y.o. is still running around weeks later trying to open portals. It's a short show, around 30 minutes, and half of it is a pre-selected group of about 20 kids doing some training on stage (jumping through hoola-hoop portals, playing hot potato with magic balls, etc.). If your kid is not one of those selected, it was a little dull. The second half was better where you fight off the villain by helping Dr. Strange.

We happened to run into Dr. Strange in the hall on his way to the show -- he asked us what time it was and that he had to go prepare -- that was cool. In fact, having the Marvel characters freely roam around the ship on Marvel Day was probably one of the coolest parts. Coming around a corner, seeing Spider-Man and getting high fives, or seeing Loki and Cap have an impromptu altercation while passing each other on the stairs.... it was neat, even for an adult. You can never interact much with the Disney characters while they are being escorted to picture locations on the ship, but the Marvel characters were an open free-for-all and I was surprised by how often/easy it was to run into them and have one-on-one interactions. Kudos to DCL for that decision.

We saw people dressed up all day, but it seemed like most people started showing up in costume around the time that the first costume trick or treat show started. On a side note, there was some sort of AC issue in the Atrium/midship area while we were on the ship, so it was so warm for the show and event that we took the costumes off immediately afterward and then put them on the kids again later.

I agree‼️ We ran into dr strange, Loki and cap America a few times

We had regular door decorating and then had our Marvel door

Can you elaborate on the availability of the Marvel Day at Sea? We're going to be traveling on the Disney Dream in June and I was aware of the Pirates in the Caribbean, but not so much what is available for Marvel. Thanks!

Sorry, Marvel Day at Sea is only on the Magic. Not on any of the other ships as of now.
