We are planning on being there - DH, me, DS17, DS14, DD12. Last year our 2 DS's had to come home early for a football game (they are in the band), so they didn't get to attend. I'm so happy that they added some earlier dates this year so that they can go! It was lots of fun!

Last year was our first MNSSHP and it was the hilight of our trip.

Just called and ordered my tickets this morning so we will be there as well on the 5th. This will be our first time at MNSSHP and I can't wait. I am keeping it a surprise for the kids...

We're going the 3rd and the 5th. Minnie and Mickey are on our 3rd tickets, Goofy and Donald on the 5th.

You can order tickets through 407-WDISNEY. You'll need a credit card and the date you want. We received ours in the mail about 10 days later.

Just got off the phone--we'll see y'all there on October 5th!
I'll be the Pale Blonde with Grumpy (and that's without costumes)

We booked ressies at LTT for 5:30 for two
The nice lady on the phone (Mella?) said the times are getting limitted so call now
(it was easy to find a table for two though)

This is our first trip to WDW and I'm SO excited! I'm getting a Fairy Godmother to watch our 3 and 5 yr old that night--this will be the only chance for us to get to do grown-up stuff and rides since there's probably no e-night

BIG QUESTION HERE:
How long will it take to high-tail it from Fort Wilderness to LTT???? Any guestimate would be appreciated--I have no idea how long anything takes (like the boat, the bus, how long to get to LTT from the dock, etc.)
HELP!

We're thinking about going that night, but I have no desire to dress up. Will we look like fools as our silly old selves? I'm also afraid of crappy weather so I might wait until I can get some sort of idea of the weather before I buy tickets (if they aren't sold out by then).

What do you all think? Sans costumes? Last minute tickets?

We are very excited this will be our second MNSSHP! Our first one will be Oct 3!!! Dh and I are ditching the kids, will probably just wear festive T-shirts and use this as our e-ride night. We bought suprise tickets for DM and DA becuase they didn't want to spend the money this time around! We are very excited

Don't worry not everyone dresses up, most adults don't
We have been to WDW in Oct 3 times and we have had the best weather out of any time of year.
The first time our first and last days were rain all day because of being sandwiched between 2 huricanes. But the 6 days in the middle were PERFECT!
Last year we went from Oct 8th - 14th. And it was alot hotter than normal. It was low to mid 90's. But when the sun went down it cooled off faster than in the summer.
The MNSSHP was on that Friday of Columbus weekend, so it was more crowded. I am thinking Sunday won't be nearly as crowded and may not sell out til that week.
My DD planned to dress as Pluto, but it was too hot, so she bought a hat and vest and went as Indiana Jones!!! She looked great!
I had a Halloween T-shirt I purchased at Target....that seemed to be what alot of people did.
