ok, so parts I cried/got emotional at
- when Chewie got emotional/mourned Leia's passing
- When the Tantiv IV took of and you hear "and Leia" mentioned
- when Chewie finally got his medal
Probably missing some
It’s not inconsistentI don’t get the argument that a consistent story doesn’t matter just because it’s fictional. There were different writers for different parts of the story, who don’t seem to care much about where it was going before they took the baton. But hey it’s Disney so how can it be anything less than perfect lol.
And you proving mineIf you say so, but thanks for proving my other point.
My 3 yo tells inconsistent fictional stories. They aren't nearly as interesting as the consistent fictional stories told by the professionals. It’s
It’s not inconsistent
It’s fiction in a fictional world
They can do anything they want with fiction when none of it is real
Disney being involved has nothing at all to do with that
In over the Disney did it so it had to suck argument myself
I don't know about that but I do think it could've been longer and/or it could've been two movies. This film did have a fast pace to it.At the very least this movie needed to be 3 hours long like End Game was.
Yep. There were several scenes/plot points that I was really interested in or wanted to explore that got jumped over or only touched on briefly.I don't know about that but I do think it could've been longer and/or it could've been two movies. This film did have a fast pace to it.
I don't get the argument that there are inconsistencies in the story when it's ALL.MADE.UP! The worlds, the species (aside from human) all of it. The writers can take it anywhere they want to and it is comes out where they want to go, no? Disney didn't "do" anything to Star Wars.
Here's an article about the cameos in TROS: https://www.slashfilm.com/star-wars-the-rise-of-skywalker-cameos/ I had a feeling the bartender guy was a cameo by the way the camera stayed on him just a little longer that you would have expected. Now I know. Some of these I missed entirely and will have to watch out for them the next time we see it.
