Some of the smaller events barely get advertised but I was wondering if anyone knew of smaller events that would make a visit a little more unique. Here's some that I can come up with:
- Three Kings Day - sometimes there's a mini-show, food, crafts
- Valentines Day - decorations, food and princes out with their princesses
- Mardi Gras - special food, sometimes a Bayou themed mini-show
- Easter - bunny characters out and easter egg hunt
- Mothers Day and Fathers Day - I know other parks sometimes have characters appear with their parents (ex. Max with Goofy) but haven't seen this at DL. Do they do anything special?
- Earth Day - environmentally themed activities and greater likelihood to see Jiminy Cricket
- May the 4th - sometimes there's official Star Wars stuff
- July 4th - Independence day themed fireworks
- Disneyland's birthday - usually a cavalcade
- Mickey's birthday - free buttons, photo spot and special performances some years
- Choc Walk - Charity event with special schedule
- New Years Eve - countdown
