Who Here is From Texas?

I must say welcome to Texas! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: We are driving in June from College Station, which is only an hour and a half from Austin (depending on which way you go).
thank you, we are excited and looking forward to something different from washington.

I don't know how I have missed this one.... :confused3
Can I join in... ????
We fly... I could not drive, I am always in a hurry to get there...
I am from Spring

Anyone else from San Antonio??

I graduated from high school in San Antonio - Tom Clark. I missed living in SA and I still have family there. We go back as often as we can, but is has changed so much.

I'm originally from the Dallas area, and will be moving back to Dallas in just over 5 months. 5 years in NYC is way too many!

lol YEAH I GRADUATED FROM NORTH MESQUITE IN 2001; worked in Sunnyvale for 5 years :)

lewisgal, you might have known my cousin then! He graduated from NMHS in 2000!!! What a small world...

I was born at Fort Hood. But we left planet Texas to enjoy the great wide open spaces of Delaware.

Beaumont Area here! It's a 14 hour drive!!! We drive to New Orleans (4 hours)the night before & stay with my brother in law, then get up really early in the morning to go the other 10 hours.

I could have what was his name... My maiden name was Lollar-- unusual so he might remember

Hello....We are from Keller (Dfw area). I'm new to the boards...trying to learn as much as I can. We are planning a roadtrip June 7-14 for Disney.

Last time we flew...this time we are driving. This will be our first roadtrip with the kids. :scared1: We plan on leaving at 3 am and driving to maybe Tallahassee...still not sure.

We live in Keller, too. To be more specific in the Villages of Woodland Springs. I love the Keller area. The only problem is that it's too far from Mickey.:lmao:

His name is Nicolas Haley. He was in the marching band for at least part of HS (played sax), and I believe he also acted in some of the school plays.

Yes I know exactly who he is... He was always so sweet and kind... I didn't think he would remember me though as I was in Orchestra and a few plays but nvr really spoke face to face my name was Christie Lollar... And I think we may have even went to the same elem.. school which was Shands... Not for sure though:confused3

Lubbock here. We're taking a large family group from our church in Dec. Can't decide whether to drive or fly. Flying is better but prices are steep these days. Might check into a bus - that would be fun with a load of Disney fans. On the other hand might not be great because we have children of all ages in our group and a long bus ride with kids??? I don't know! :scared1:
