I don't see how Josh posting a verifiable fact is wrong but stating that you can just do 5 or so refreshes and expect to pull multiple erides is acceptable...
And again, the main point is there is no reason that HS should close at 8, especially when they saw all the FP's were gone.....
Everything he said is accurate; he points out the drop time and you don't even have to refresh if you catch a drop. Remy said, "We have been to AK a ton in the past few months and not once have we failed to get an FoP at 101 with minimal effort." That's a drop time.
Remy said, "Last Friday for a friend I pulled multiple eride attractions at Studios ( SDD, TSM, SMuggler(2), ToT(2), RNRC (2), Star Tours)with no more than 5 or so refreshes ( understanding when drops happen helps)." The SDD, Smugger and sometimes TSM are drops. ToT, Star Tours, and R'n'R are relatively easy to get, yes, within 5 refreshes.
The point is, not all the FP's stay gone. All you have to do is refresh to see that, that's why I say that is extremely misleading. You can pull up the FP selection later in the evening and it can look like all FP's are gone for that day in every park. You refresh, and the FP's populate as you refresh. That's what I'm saying; if you are a newbie, you don't know that even when it says there are no more FP's, that is wrong the majority of the time; it is only saying there are no FP's right at that second for the person who just loaded it.
Disney, esp. with the Asian park closures, are not going to extend hours at this time. It's not in their business best interest. What I, and others are saying about the FPs, is if you spend the time learning the in's and out's, the open park hours are enough to do what you want to do in a day. I get that some people are night owls, and that does stink that they can't have open hours when they want them, but we operate within the confines of those park hours for when we plan a trip.
