AP holders from NY, NJ, Conn

we live in MA and are flying out of BDL (CT). Has anyone in this situation changed their flights to fly out of a different airport? set 24th-30th are out dates.

We are flying the 26th out of BDL. May switch to TF Green in Providence. Still not sure what to do!

Has anyone been in intact with Disney to see if AP holders from quarantined states are getting an extra extension for the months we cannot visit per the governor’s orders? We cancelled our July trip due to that restriction and now are hoping to visit in September. I never get responses from Disney on the emails I send

I emailed them asking if they were going to do anything about the Tri-state area passholders since we are restricted from visiting and have not heard anything from them. When I have a few hours to spend on hold I will try to call. We have a Sept. trip planned and are going to have to cancel soon since we are on our DVC points. We will lose points but not all since some were banked from 2018 and they won’t extend them which sucks since we have to book so far out and thus is not our fault.

the PVD flight is not an ideal time for us, we may stick with BDL and just fill out the forms on whatever end they ask us. Have friends who just flew out of BDL to Miami, and they also live here in MA. Waiting for her expereince, and figure we dont fly out till Sept 24th

Nope she said no forms no questions and half empty flights, so we will stick with BDL and not think about it again.

Can anyone confirm the latest with the checkpoint on I 95 going into FL? If airlines aren't requiring forms any longer, are cars entering from the tristate still filling out forms?

Someone in the Transportation forum said that the checkpoint wasn't there anymore.

Actually watched the people disboard before I got on the plane. A doh women was there to collect forms they were given to fill out on the plane. No Id asked for or way to assure the info was correct. She actually took all the forms by hand instead of having a box to put them in which seemed very unsafe in these Covid times

I'm from NY and have upcoming October DVC trip booked. APs started 3/06/20 and extended to 8/01/2021.
If the travel restrictions aren't lifted before Sep. 7th I will have to cancel or risk losing my points. At that point I guess I would cancel our APs also.
Is there a time limit for cancelling APs?

Same situation here.......I wanted to wait until September 7th & decide if we go or not go. I might decide before then if FL cases just keep going up.

I was debating getting a partial refund on our passes but we are also booked for late Feb. - Decisions, decisions.

We have a trip planned for Sept. 13 and will be losing of our DVC points since they were 2018 banked points and had to be used by Oct. 1. From all the DVC updates they are not going to extend them. So if the travel restrictions are still in place and the numbers in Florida are still high we will have to cancel. Going to call to see what they say so I cancel far enough out so points that we won’t lose are not put into holding.

I'm reading this before coffee, which led me to be confused. It took me a minute to realize disboard = deplane and not Disboards.

Yes, bummer. We will likely cancel also but don't have to make decision until September. I doubt if things will change that drastically by then.

There are protections in place to prevent Law Enforcement from browsing EZ Pass data under normal circumstances. I suppose under the current crisis there may be an exemption, but generally agencies need a subpoena to access specific EZ Pass accounts.

The states also really want people to get and use EZ Pass because it saves them a lot of money when they can automate everything. If they actually did this even once, people would simply take the transponders out of their car, forcing them to staff up the toll plazas and expose the employees collecting the tolls to people paying cash from areas with tons of community spread. Doing it would be a really stupid and short-sighted idea.

we are still going, we are AP's and own DVC we live in MA but are flying out of BDL. I am not cancelling as long as the Disney DVC hotels are open and our flights are still on schedule.
