You have to hold a card for a year before you can PC. It would work if you have another card you can change.

I had 2 credits show up for each of my kids cards. We did buy pizza with those, right at the start and I had to ask for the credit, because it didn't show up, but I got them. I have no idea what these are for.

I keep trying to purchase from egifter to use the Shop Small credits, but AMEX keeps denying the payment. Meanwhile, I'm using the Amex card for other stuff just fine. I have gotten no fraud type alerts or anything. So weird.

That's weird. It is rather complicated but I didn't have an issue with Amex denying the payment. Let me try another one. Still have eleven to use.

I have a question for the CSP & CSR experts.... I got the CSP 10/2016 then upgraded it to the CSR 6/2018. Can I apply for the CSP now and get a SUB?

You cannot hold two Chase Sapphire cards at the same time, you would have to cancel your CSR to do so. Additionally, you can't earn a sign-up bonus on a Sapphire card until 48 months after your last Sapphire bonus. So, if you got the CSP in 10/2016, you need to wait until 10/2020 PLUS however long it took you to actually earn the bonus. You may need to wait until after 01/2021 depending on when you earned the bonus.

You first need to cancel or PC the CSR...and then see when you received the bonus you can apply 48 months after ...if you look at your old statements it will show when it was posted

You have to wait 48 months after you last received the CSP SUB (not the card approval) AND you cannot hold any other Sapphire cards so if you still hold that CSR that would need to be closed. Either way, you would not be able to apply now. If you can check when you received the SUB on that 10/2016 CSP and then work forward 4 years from that date - that is when you can apply for a CSP again.

Do you know if the renewal is still my original date which is in October or June when I upgraded? I'll try looking in my statements too. Then in that case, when I am ready to apply, should I apply for the CSP or CSR. Also should I just cancel or PC to another card?

You guys & gals, I just spent 30 minutes looking through a bunch of credit card statements looking for my last Netflix charge that happened 1/22... someone hacked into our Netflix account and I needed the last credit I used. I had to look through 15 statements!!! ugh... I guess I need to start noting on my budget app what card I use for each transaction.

I bought a $10 Dunkin gift card since I’ve been drinking my fair share of iced pumpkin coffees lately, lol. I may get another if I have any credits left on Sunday the last day. However, we may use our last 3 by then. I have a coffee date with my sister on Friday, and then we’ll likely get takeout for dinner on Friday and maybe eat out on Saturday or Sunday. Nevertheless, it’s been fun trying to use up all 20 credits. I can’t imagine y’all that have like 60 to use
