Wow, a lot of people are traveling when we are. Probably because it's the most affordable.

Our dates are AoA 1/26-29 Little Mermaid room! Last I stayed here was before magic bands lol

I've got my list ready with the order I plan to book them, in case my brain is fuzzy in the morning. The only day I am questioning is our first day - we plan to go to Epcot, but I have a feeling when we get to the Poly and look across the water at the Magic Kingdom, we might not be able to resist. It's enough that I'm considering making fast passes for MK instead of our intended park...we'll see what I end up doing in the morning We mostly plan to do the World Showcase at Epcot, so it wouldn't be a *huge* problem if I decided to do that. I have a feeling that even if we stick to the plan, DH and I might head over to MK after dinner and let the kids hang out at the resort. We'll see!!

I am so psyched! Over the weekend we decided we wanted to do 2 character meals. We missed the 6 month booking by only 3 months.

I only had to stalk the site for 2 days and picked up both BOG and the new Snow White dinners!

I updated the roll call to BC, @LBlovesM&WDW! I’ll have to check out the discounts... we rented DVC points for our January trip, but since I bought my first AP, I want to check them out for a possible short visit! .

They go pretty darn quick. I couldn't pull the trigger this morning (really wanted my husband to tell me to do it and not leave it up to me) and this afternoon (when he came home, he told me change it), YC was gone. WL had a better view, but of course a higher price. We'll get there sometime, but leaving a $600 discount was hard to pass up.

We are good to go, FPs are booked! We got everything we needed for our plan and what we expected after looking at the TouringPlans FP availability checker last night. The only major thing we knew wouldn't be available is SDD on our third day (Jan 2) at HS, but we decided to do Early Morning Magic last week, so we're not too worried about that. Otherwise, we got FEA, 7DMT, FoP and everything else at our desired times. We're ready!

@norrsund, that’s great news! I love the Touring Plans FP availability tool... very helpful. My problem is I look at it too early, which I know is ridiculous since it changes so frequently... but I have no patience. I need to just ignore it until the night before I book my FP+.

Super easy! Slinky was available on our first day 12/30, but I booked Saucers instead (as planned), and put Slinky on our last night (I want to ride in the dark). Flight of Passage was available all days (I checked after booking ours). No issues, lots of times available for all rides.

Editing to say - I went back and checked an hour after booking, hour and a half, and now at right under two hours - just for research and to report back - still times available for FOP and Slinky on multiple days (at least for a party of four)

So I'm kind of annoyed... we always get our Military Salute tickets from the rec. center on base here (which I'm totally thankful we can get this great discount) but when I called to see if they had the 2019 tickets in or if I'd have to come in and order them (I've had both scenarios in the past) they said they would not be receiving them until January! I know I have got them in the past before the current year is up for the following year- for Jan., Feb., and March trips. I just like to have everything paid off before we go. It never really was an issue before but now I want to have them ahead of time to make fp+ picks.

I guess I can keep checking back, but for those who have been in Jan. since fp+ started, how likely is it that I will be able to get good fp+ picks for 2 people less than two weeks from the trip? TIA

We ordered our military salute tickets from shades of green. It’s only $10 more total since you pay for fedex shipping, but they come already activated and you can make your FP at 60 days

DS and I are coming later in the week, so arriving Wednesday 16th, flying Frontier there, no return flights yet...maybe we'll just stay.
As of right now, we are staying in Universal for the first night, hitting Uni/IOA, then we are heading over to CR and DAH for our first time! SO excited to finally have a DAH date work for one of our trips!
Anyway, Friday we are using my "gifted" 1 day PHs and extra FPs, trying to figure which park to start at, AK or HS...
Staying at Swan Friday night.

I wondered if we would be making this trip, so back at 180 days I grabbed Ohana, just incase, glad I did!
DS has a Birthday a week later. We did this trip a few years ago, and the CMs were ALL so fantastic wishing him a happy Birthday, and bringing him cupcakes with candles everywhere we ate. Excited for him!
March will be my first trip on my own Birthday, feeling like a kid even more so for that!

It's a bit confusing, planning January, March and July trips!! Getting our trips in before SWGE
