You should ask Grant Napear if he says all cancers matter during the month of October. While you're at it, ask him if he says all children matter when people advocate for autism awareness.

He was not fired for saying all lives matter. He was fired for having a long and sordid history of racial comments including defending Donald Sterling after his racist comments came out on tape. These latest were the proverbial straw.

Further. saying all lives matter is not benign. It is an inflammatory retort made by denialists seeking to blow off the black lives matter movement. The reason black lives matter is called that is not because they believe not all lives matter. It is because it is black lives that historically haven't mattered and it is black lives the justice system devalues.

Might have been a beautiful start, but apparently hardly anyone is watching it. You guys see the ratings? In the tank, man. Same with baseball it looks like. I thought we were starved for sports. On a positive note, golf seems to be doing pretty well.

The only think I'm seeing is ratings that show baseball and hockey with still over 2 million viewers yesterday. If you can link something that shows a huge drop, please share.

Outkick had the ratings for the games following opening night. All took ratings tumbles. 3 baseball games on 7/31. 1 million watching one, 922K another and 797K watching the third one. 1.3 million watching Celtics/bucks on 7/31, 1.7 million watching mavs/rockets. Much less than opening night.

For the NBA, those number are still better than what they were getting for a regular game earlier in the season. No sure about baseball but with all the problems they are having right now, I not surprised if their numbers are down.

yes great opening night rating, then they went way down, but as teams start ebing eliminated they will bounce back up. And to Toronto fans, I just dont see away you win this year, but at same time, I wish the Cavs were like Toronto, not folding when people leave, just a solid organization that knows how to win
