OK.... AKV's direct incentive for members starts at 150 pts and $8 off.

It climbs to as high as $21 off beginning at 1000 points.

In the past, though, didn't at least one contract have to equal the minimum number of points required to received a specific discount? In other words, to get the 300 point pricing, while seeking to buy 1,000 points, at least one contract has to be for 300 points and the rest can be whatever? That still leaves you with one big-@$% contract to hold on to or try to resell.

No. It is total that mattered. So, if you buy 1000 points, you get the discount for that, no matter how many contracts you want.

The only minimum is new buyers whose first contract has to be 150. Current owners can split however they want.

Staying in BLT studio is a waste. 1,2,3 BRs are phenomenal

Sure. But BLT isn’t perfect. If studios are your thing, there’s always The Poly. My point is that most BLT lovers are not studio people.

You will lose a ton by doing this. Your points won't sell for retail price. Even 100 point contracts will sell around $165

How do we know that BLT is not the "drop down" sale for those who think GFV is too expensive? Isn't anyone worried that with this BLT incentive it means GFV2 will be priced higher than BLT? GFV2 buyers are going to be interested in the proximity to MK. If $225 to $240 pp is too expensive, then guides can offer BLT.

Resale has to drop. At 197, the obvious choice is BLT direct even against SSR resale, currently getting bought back in the 140s. If I were in a 10 day resale period as a buyer, I'd be canceling.

But only if you are buying 300 points. What is the typical first time or add-on purchase?

Because they don't have millions of new points at BLT to offer new buyers who find VGF too expensive. They have RIV for that. Granted BLT is a MK resort like VGF but this sale ends on March 2nd, and again, they won't have the BLT stock to use it as a long term strategy if they price VGF high.
