Disney Gift Card Deals

I hope this has not been asked a lot - I've been keeping up as much as possible. I ordered an ebay e-gift card from Target on Monday. Order confirmation said it should have been delivered in four hours, but I have yet to see it. Is this normal?
No. It's not normal. Go to the Target website and log into your account. Then track your orders. Check to make sure that the order has not been canceled.

I just purchased Target eGC on Raise via Swagbucks shop and earn, but SB doesn't show that purchase. Is this a delay or is SB not giving me reward for that order?
It takes a while for the merchant to confirm the purchase with SB, then then even longer for the SBs to move from pending to credited. An ebay purchase that I made on 1/14 still has another 69 days before it will be available for me to redeem on SB.

I've never been to Disneyland before in all my twenty years. At my third year at a university in So-Cal, I figured there is no better time than now to finally hop on this bandwagon. I came across this forum while searching for deals on Disneyland tickets, because holy **** on toast, this place is so expensive. Plus, I also want to take my twin sister along, since she's also never been here and she's planning to visit me in a few months. I've been backtracking and still could not see the full detail of the "churning" process. Could someone please kindly explain this seemingly alleged magic called "churning"? I have Target Red Card, use eBay occasionally, and am completely clueless about anything Disneyland related, so please don't use too much acronyms. How much would I save buying the tickets this way (say, I have 1000 to spare)? Thank you in advance.
I never engaged in "churning" but have done many trips to DL (Disneyland). There are many ways to save money on your trip, besides discounts on disney gift cards. (I have bought Disney gift cards from target using target gift cards obtained on Raise but never went through the ebay turning part. And after reading all this lifetime ban stuff with target.com I would stick to purchasing Disney gift cards in store for the flat 5% off when using a Red Card for now personally.) For budget saving ideas while in the parks, best current ticket discounts and looking for opinions on cheap hotels check out the Disneyland Forum. Some really helpful DISers over there and I don't know that too many of them haunt this thread unless specifically looking for discounts on Disney gift cards. Disneyland is an expensive place, there's no getting around that but hopefully we can help cushion the financial blow a bit :) The Disneyland forum can also help you with any other trip planning questions!

Kroger 4x fuel promotion on Saturday 1/23 - one day only. Too bad I'll be stuck in the upcoming mega-snowstorm and probably won't leave my house for 5 days. Boo!

Guess it depends on where you live. We're in the Cincinnati area. Looks like we have the sale for three days; Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Our bad snow day will be Friday, but I'll be shopping and buying cards by Sunday.

Couple of things.

1) I think we usually had a two week gift card sale this time of year. So the time frame is shorter.

2) With most sales, I usually buy my cards after the first of the month. I'll have until the last day of the following month to use the points. With this sale, I can't. I'll only have about five weeks to use the points.
Expires the last day of February.

OK - so I feel like an idiot, but I did find my ebay gift card. I searched my email multiple ways and multiple times, so I don't know how it never showed up in my searches. But, when I was on chat with the Target rep, he asked for an order confirmation - I did a search, and there it was. :confused3

So, now to eBay to get my 3X rewards!

I have used Target gift cards bought from Raise in the store and purchased Disney. However, I either went through the self-check out OR had other items in my cart. I am not sure if it would trigger suspicion if you just went through a regular aisle.

Last Sunday I grabbed a $1300 GC from Gift Card Zen, I went to the store and bought $1350 in Disney cards, went through a regular check-out and used the $1300 gift card I had uploaded to the mobile app and my RedCard for the extra $50 and it worked fine. I also have placed another $1000 or so worth of GC orders online since Sunday using GC's and the RedCard and they've all been processed and shipped, so it doesn't seem to have raised any flags.

Last year in the mid Atlantic the sale was also one day (1/18).

I had been waiting for a sale. I am about $350 away from being PiF on a cruise. Still have a few months before my PiF date but it would be nice to have it taken care of. But unless I want to walk to Kroger, that's not happening this week:)

I've only bought$1500 in mixed cards
That's ridiculous on Target's part! If they don't want you to buy it they shouldn't offer to sell it to you. I buy a variety of gift cards from Target so THANK YOU for the heads up on this situation, sorry that it cost you your online shopping privileges and hours of your life on the phone with Target. :( I'll definitely be limiting my purchasing.

Raise is giving 5$ off on order 75$ or more (new users only). I just got a 100$ target eGC for 89$. It expires on Feb 1st.

Yeah - I don't think we had a big 4x promo last year until closer to Easter.

You could sled or snowmobile to Kroger! Bet you could use that ebay bucks promo today to buy yourself some snowshoes - lol!

Theres no way to do the 4x online is there?

J

No - it's not been canceled... I'm going to keep searching through my email.

Should try this solution from Slickdeals:

Cards marked as shipped but you didn't get the email or are having trouble retrieving them? To to TargetEcards.com[targetecards.com] and enter your order information. Enter 00000 for your zip code if it doesn't work with your real one. This should bring up a listing of your cards. Click print and a window will open with the code. If you get an error just keep trying.

Very normal. However, lots of people have said they've had to prompt SB to credit their Raise purchases. For some reason, they hardly ever go through properly. That said, if you contact SB, they'll tell you to wait about a week before to make 100% sure it doesn't credit.
