That's weird.. I went to "modify" my confirmation just for party size and it says I have a party of 8. My reservation only has 4. I tried to modify it down to 4 but it's acting weird and I'm afraid it will mess up/cancel my reservation so I'm leaving it alone for now.

Are you, by chance, doing a split stay? We are doing a split stay and checking out of AKL on the 28th and checking into POLY on the 28th. Because our check in/check out date landed on a Moonlight Magic date, member services told me that we would be able to book for the number of people on both reservations....double the number of people in our party.

I tried calling and MS is no help, they can't book it and don't know why I can't either...very frustrating

ETA: We are staying on property but not DVC and she said we should be able to book. She said wait for email and I asked how will they know I'm DVC, they don't ask when you book it..she didn't know....

I wonder if they are sending out emails in tiers. We are staying at SSR and I still have not received an email.

After what a mess this has been this morning, including not receiving the email, I've decided that I'll be speaking with DVC executives on the 11th @ Epcot. I was lucky enough to register for the MK event thanks to the link posting here, but it's ridiculous that we all have to go thru this stuff every time there's an event. Don't know if talking to execs can do anything, but it can't hurt!

I'm in the same boat as many, I've been trying since just after 9am. No email. I get the same "unable to understand your request" error...


... and now Member Services is just busy, over and over. Insanely frustrating.

I told my husband he had better have gotten a confirmation # so we know member services really did it. Waiting for a text back from him.

A supervisor named Jacqueline was able to book it. She told my husband only DVC reservations can do it online, all else need to call. No confirmations will be sent for 10-14 days according to her.
