I don't like football (American).
I think Matthew McConnaughey is gross.
I like baseball better than basketball (big no-no in Kentucky).
Soft chairs are not comfortable.
I don't like seafood (yes, I've had fresh, yes I've tried what many consider the best way to make salmon, etc)
Not a fan of red, in general.
I don't like the Fantasy genre and am not a big fan of most Sci-Fi (though there is Sci-Fi that I love, especially time travel, post apocalyptic stuff, paranormal stuff, etc). ETA, not a fan of most romance movies and definitely not books, though some rom coms can be fun.

I like coffee that tastes like coffee. All that flavored stuff is stupid. And I can’t stand Starbucks.

I hate any shows that feature children performing (especially children with adult singing voices) or competing, like in cooking shows. I watched my own kids and that was enough.

The only sport I hate watching is basketball.

I’m tired off all these mega-rich celebrities soliciting money for charities. They could all pony up a few million each and problem solved.

Lastly, to the many out there that refuse to use your blinker on your car - FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THINGS HOLY - USE YOUR DANG BLINKER!!!!!!

I never understood why people don't use turn signals. I asked a friend once, when I was riding with him and he didn't use his, and he said no one was behind him. I don't get it! I use my turn signal every time. I don't bother to think to look all around to see if I need to use it. In fact I don't think about it any more than I think of turning the steering wheel. I just do it without even having to think.

Although, as much as this bothers me, it is nothing compared to the idiots using their phones while driving. I think it should be a license suspension offense. And do it again and lose your license. Too many people getting injured and killed.

Lots of people, yes some on this board, and yes some on this thread (if they’re honest) actually think there is something wrong with you if you don’t like animals. Nope, they’re just not my thing..just like some people don’t like babies. I always say to my husband, you know how you cringe when you hear a baby screaming..that’s what a dog barking or nails clicking on the floor sounds like to me.

It doesn’t make me less of a person, just a person who sees a dog/cat/hamster/bird as an animal..not my baby.

I don't understand the obsession with celebrity news and gossip. I don't care who is married to who, who is getting divorced, who did what on vacation, why some celebrity died, who cheated on who, or any of it.

Yes, let's include the Royal family in the mix please. If there's something truly newsworthy, like Harrison Ford saves some guy from a fire, ok that's interesting. As far as so-in-so cavorting on the beach in Fiji with so-in-so....ya lost me.

I'm a TERRIBLE driver, and I use my turn signals. I figure it's safer if everyone around me has a general idea of where I'm going.

Pandora at AK SUCKS. Absolutely abysmal. FOP is the lamest ride I have been on. I enjoyed the river ride, but the boats you sit in are uncomfortable as all hell.

No-parks WDW vacations are better than parks-centered ones.

Same anywhere around Chicago. If you turn your blinker on even a split second before you change lanes, the other driver takes it as a personal mission to block you from getting into their lane. You must check your mirrors, check behind you, and force your way in about 50% before hitting the blinker. Otherwise you will never get in.

- I cannot stand the taste of coffee - don't mind the smell, but a tea drinker my whole life.
- love baseball and college football - NFL cannot watch, and basketball makes me crazy with the squeaking shoes!
- dislike seafood and cannot understand how anyone finds it appealing with the texture/flavor/smell (although I will eat the fish and chips at UK in Epcot!)
- bad grammar makes me crazy - you're/your, there/their, and so on
- if you're on vacation with your family/loved ones/children, etc., put your phones away and live in the moment (except for taking a few pictures for memories!)

Some of my unpopular opinions:

I can't stand mayonnaise.

I'm the only southerner who prefers unsweetened tea to sweet tea.

I don't really like watching any professional sports & think baseball games are really long & boring.

I don't get the Star Wars hype. I watched the first 3 (or, rather, episodes 4, 5, & 6) & was content w/ that. I don't need a continuing saga.

I actually think Joey & Rachel might have been a better couple than Ross & Rachel.

I don't like Crocs.

Mini-vans aren't horrible. Yes, there are some sleek, sexy cars out there. But a mini-van doesn't look dorkier than any other larger vehicle. You're not a cooler mom than I am because you drive a clunky, large SUV while I drive a mini-van.

I like diagramming sentences.

Yeah, but that is two different things you are saying - 1) you don't like animals is different than 2) seeing animals as animals and not as your baby. I totally get #2, by all means, but I can't understand #1. You don't like any living thing that's not human? lol. That's just bizarre. Heck, if anything I would say the opposite would be more understandable.
